Daily Calendar Puzzle is an independent, free browser version of the daily calendar puzzle.

What it is

The calendar puzzle is a tiling puzzle: eight flat pieces, a board of 43 cells, and one rule — cover every cell except the two that spell out today's month and day. There is a fresh board every day of the year.

This site lets you play it in a browser, free, with nothing to install and no account needed. It also runs a live arena where everyone in the world gets the same board at the same moment and races to solve it, publishes worked solutions for all 366 dates for people stuck on a physical puzzle, and teaches the technique in a free nine-part course.

Not affiliated with any puzzle maker

The physical wooden calendar puzzle is sold by several manufacturers under various names. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them. It is an independent implementation of the puzzle's rules, with its own board, its own piece sets and its own solver. All trade marks belong to their respective owners.
